Polygamy

What's meant by polygamy?

According to Wikipedia, it is form of marriage in which a man has more than one wife at one time. Well, that 'poly' stands for.

Do you agree of polygamy? why do yo say so?

1. Helping women in need especially the widows.
Well, this is the main purpose of polygamy, which is to help the women in need. Yes. men can help them without marrying them. But by getting married, men can take care of them continuously; financial problems, emotional support and others.

2. Avoid bad gossips and slander.
Human love gossips. They would gossip and gossip without knowing the real circumstances. They just say what they want to say. Especially for person , who's not so religious but claiming he/she is. By getting marrried, people cannot tell slander as the couple has officially bind by a legal relationship.

3. Spread the generation.
Having more wives means men will have more children. It's healthy actually. The generation will be spread. The children can make friends each other as well as the wives.

4. The wife cannot conceive.
barren of women.

and for those who disagree with polygamy, why do you say so?

1. Unfair to women.
Why men' re allowed to marry more than one but women cannot do so? Men cannot be fair. The men will treat their young wives nicely. and the old one will be neglected. Of course, young wife is more beautiful, younger, and fresh. This undeniably causes the old wife to be depressed.

2. Love is tested and tested over again.
Is it true love when we love many people? Lets take an example: a man say that he love his first wife with a full heart. and then when he's with his 2nd wife, he said that he love her. His love towards the two wives is undeniably not the same. Perhaps he love his 1st wife more or vice versa. Men just cannot be fair regarding love. They maybe fair regarding times or money but not LOVE! Polygamy justice is not that easy.

3. Children will be neglected
The father will not have enough time to take care of all the kids. (especially when he has t0o many children) They children will be stressed and feel sidelined by their own father. This result in po0r academic achievement in school and other social problems.

4. IVF or surrogate mother.
Women who cannot conceive can try IVF to have child. This is very effective and many couples had successfully do it.

So, polygamy has its pro n cons. It depends on the husbands attitudes and on how they educate their wives. As a growing girl, I don't really disagree with polygamy. hee

LIFE

LIFE, such a perfect bliss!

It is nothing to be scared about
Ain’t nothing we can do.
Just let it be a part of life,
We can make it good,
We can make it right,
We can make the shadows turn to light.
It is some kind of perfect bliss.

There are a part of my favourite song entitled “Perfect Bliss” by Bellefire. Have I got a perfect bliss in my life? Life? What does it means to me? Life is short. The adage that we always heard. As for me, it is not important either our lives are short or not but we must enjoy our lives. Truthfully, I enjoy it to the fullest. What are the things that you treasure most in your life? When people asked me that question, I will simply answer in just a second, enjoy your life.

Just like anyone else, I am only a simple girl. Being a girl is the most valuable thing in my life. Predominantly, narrow- minded people said that being a girl is the worst incident happened in life, as if as a slip of fate. But I am definitely contrary with them. I am very pleased and proud to be a girl. Beyond any doubt, girls have their own special characteristics and traits. One of them is beauty. I believe and admit that I am a pretty girl. Am I too much for saying so much? Well, I think every single girl in this world is charming and gorgeous. Having an oval sweet face, a pair of lustrous eyes, thick bushy eyebrows, pink lips and two dimples on both sides of my cheeks makes me prettier than others. Thanks God for the gift! It cannot be denied that my beauty can mesmerize others and can make everybody falls prey easily. But, I know that it will deteriorate with time .

Girls and shopping! Two words and two things that cannot be separated. Born in a silver spoon in my mouth makes me one of the luckiest girls in the world. I do not have to worry about my budget as I have my own VISA credit card. Every single week, I will be seen at any mall. But the perfect shopping complex for me is Beverly Hills Mall. Shopping is one of the things that I treasure most. Walking around mall, choosing goods and bringing shopping bags are my favourite. I have plethora of collections of dresses, scarves, bags, and shoes in my wardrobe. I will make sure my dresses, scarves, bags and shoes are up-to-date.. Like others girls, I do not want to be labelled as a tatty and unfashioned girl. A question that always penetrates into my mind is “Am I a shopaholic?” I think it is normal for a growing teenager like me. Do you?

The third thing that I appreciate most in my life is my beloved parent; their outpouring love towards me. I love both of them. They are indeed my ***. My daddy, who is an entrepreneur, is a workaholic man. Although he always busy with his works and meetings, he still cares for his family. Every time I passed my exam with flying colours’ results, he will give me a big cuddle and lovely kiss. Sometimes, he buys present as a supporter for me to excel more in studies. Last year, he bought a Sony VAIO laptop, which is my dream gadget for years. My mom, so called Mama is a wonderful woman. Being a housewife makes her closer to me. I will look for her advices when I feel bad and sombre. Double- hand squeeze are our loving secret. Every morning, I squeeze her hands and she instantly replies the gesture. Today, I am seventeen, but she still tucks me in to bed and kiss me good-night.

Having siblings is also one of the precious things in my life. I am the fifth daughter from five siblings. I have two brothers and two sisters. They mean a lot to me. My brothers are my role model as they always help me in my studies especially in Add maths and Physics. Sometimes they tickle me with their jokes that brighten my life. My sisters are twins. They are the most understanding people in my exuberant teenage world. We are sharing everything together. We often go for shopping together as we have the same taste. There are lots of bittersweet memories with them.

Food! I love eating. My mother is good and talented at cook. She can cook variety of palatable and scrumptious food ranging from fish, chicken, vegetables and others. It makes me live to eat not like others, who eat to live. I am a very lucky girl as I can eat finger-licking food almost every meal as mama prepare it . my favourite is absolutely spicy hot gravy Tom-Yam. It leaves scent of my palate with every spoonful. I also share an eating habit with my siblings, it is an eating sprees! We enjoy it very much.

No man is an island. No denial, everybody needs at least a friend. No one can live without friends. Life is immensely useless without friends, pals, or buddies. Just like anyone else, I own friends too. Growing up as sociable and happy-go-lucky girl, I have so many friends in my lists. Some I made since I was in kindergarten, primary school, and some I knew when I was in secondary school. But, I have my own gang. We are seven buddies or called as “Calculators.” Calculators? Is it peculiar? Actually, it is our acquaintanceship symbol. Friendship is one of the things that I treasure most in my life. We are always together; laughing, sobbing, weeping and much more. They are my second place to confide in and people who can lend their shoulders for me to cry on. They will listen attentively to what I poured in, nod, and soothe me with their words of wisdom.

Next, the thing that I treasure most is my secret. Do I have secret? Of course, I do. Everyone has a few secrets. I t is completely normal. I am not talking about big, earth-shattering secrets, not the-president-is-planning-to-bomb-Korean-and-only-Will-Smith-can-save-the-world type of secrets. It is only a mere secret. When I was in form two, I met someone. I could feel a huge thunder blundering my heart and my soul for the first time my eyes met him. It is my first-sight love; my first love. His name starts with “A”. He is not a handsome or rich man with Giorgio Armani suit or CLR7 Mercedes- Benz. But, he stills the perfect embodiment for human species. He is only a simple but great guy. We knew each other in a summer camp and it lasted for a week. After that, we did not contact and went through our lives separately. Is it love? The sudden clash had me wonder the meaning of life. However, I will keep that memorable memory in my soul.

So, have I got an ideal life, such a perfect bliss? Honestly, I am not the princess in a fairy tales, who has exultant moment in every second. There were some ordeals that I had to get through in my life. It is hard but I had to accept it. I consider my life is like a rainbow. Spectrums colours of rainbows are very beautiful. Same with our lives, mixtures of happy and sad events make our lives more beautiful. “Life is like a rainbow, you need both of the sun and the rain to make its colour appear.” It is a repeated quote that we always heard. I assertively confident that I have both of ‘the sun’ and ‘the rain.’

All in all, the road to wellness is full of unexpected occurrences. As Tom Hanks said in his famous drama, Forest Gump, “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get.” By the end pf the year, I will sit for an important exam, SPM. Everyday, I pray and pray, hoping to get an excellent result. I do hope. My principle, “Our lives are not determined by what happens, not by what life brings to us, but the attitude we bring to live.
